Starting from last Saturday evening 525 transmissions were confirmed, mainly from Europe but also from Canada, USA, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Tunisia, Madeira, Georgia, Kazakhstan, eastern Russia (Siberia), Indonesia. Today from small station we had communications with 50, mainly Polish stations. Since the period of the license lasts until Sunday we are still on air, waiting for radio amateurs from all over the world.
All correspondents will receive the QSL card to confirm communications with SN2MTBO, with the logo of the event and information about Harpagan Orienteering Club website.

We are happy to inform that here in Gdańsk we have NOT been touched in any way by flood. Moreover, May this year is very dry and conditions of roads in forest are very good.
Participants travelling by car from south of Europe (Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, etc ...) may expect some local communication problems (some minor roads may be closed) but detours will be shown by police or roadsigns. Consider using major roads or travelling through Germany if it doesn't make your route much longer.
Red Group members will be selected as top 10 coming to Gdańsk from the list presented below.
List is based on IOF ranking from May 23rd.

Our IOF Advisor visited us in March and that is what he wrote after the visit :
2010 March 27,– 2010 March 31, the first visit of MTBO WCup and WMMOC IOF Senior Event Advisor Alexey Kuzmin was held. During the visit, local MTBO competitions were visited. During this competitions, prize-giving training of SEA was held. As next step, there were sausage fire-grill-making competitions, and winners were given special prizes ( a piece of bread to eat with ready sausage).
Next 3 days, places of accommodations, food, start-finish arenas, Ceremonies were visited and adopted as suitable for the competitions of such level. Also some proposals to use horses instead bikes for some sportsmen were looked for.

The first official training before MTB-O World Cup 2010 in Gdańsk took place on 27th and 28th March. About 100 competitors from Poland and Russian Federation took part in it. On Sunday we had a special visitor- Senior Event Advisor Alexey Kuzmin from Moscow. In our photo gallery you can find pictures of our beautiful forest and competitiors.
